A gourd fruit in the central Ninh Thuan province weighs as much as 35 kilograms.
The gourd is 0.7 meter long and its largest circumference measures up to 1 meter.
The owner, Truong Thanh Le, said he had found the gourd grow naturally in his garden, at Phuoc Khanh hamlet, Phuoc Thuan commune, Ninh Phuoc district.
Le then took care of the gourd and it has gradually grown up to such a big size now.
Many locals said this is the biggest gourd fruit they have ever seen.
Le said he would keep it for seeding purposes.
